Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

The current data controller for the Carlo Forge studio site is Maksym Pryimak, an individual in Ukraine. Privacy questions: pryimak615@gmail.com.

The operator identity (for example a future legal entity or hello@carloforge.tech) may change. When it does, we will update this section and the Effective date on this page.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to:

• The public Carlo Forge studio site hosted on Cloudflare Pages (currently carlo-forge.pages.dev; later carloforge.tech when the domain is live).
• Mailto contact and HR / lab email links published on the site.
• Static assets such as brand files, OG images, CV PDF, and product screenshots served from this site.
• The Carlo Forge Patreon tip jar linked from the site (processed by Patreon under their own policy).

This policy does not cover the Doc Hub product land, downloads, licensing Worker, or desktop app. Those surfaces have their own notice: doc-hub.app/privacy.

Undefined Behavior is listed as a pre-alpha game card only. There is no game account system or store checkout on this studio site yet.

3. Data we process

3.1 Studio website

• Hosting / edge: Cloudflare may process standard request metadata (IP address, user agent, approximate location, timestamps) to serve pages and protect the network.
• Page analytics:Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookie-free RUM beacon; SPA navigations included). Aggregate traffic and performance only — no advertising cookies and no cookie banner for this measurement.
• Email contact: If you write to pryimak615@gmail.com (lab, HR, press, or general questions), we process the content of that message and your email address to reply. No contact form posts data to our servers in v1.
• Theme and language preferences: The site may store color-mode and locale preferences in your browser (localStorage / similar) so your choice persists. These stay on your device.
• Downloads of static files: Opening brand assets or the CV PDF is ordinary file download traffic through the host; we do not run a separate account or download license system on this site.

3.2 Patreon tip jar

If you join Carlo Forge on Patreon, Patreon is the controller for that membership relationship. See Patreon’s privacy policy. Carlo Forge does not receive your card details from Patreon through our own systems.

3.3 Social platforms

Links to Telegram, X (Twitter), company LinkedIn, GitHub, and personal LinkedIn open those platforms. Interaction there is governed by their policies. We do not embed social tracking pixels on this studio site.

We process data to:

• Operate and secure the studio website and CDN.
• Understand aggregate usage via Cloudflare Web Analytics (legitimate interest / cookie-free measurement).
• Answer email about the studio, founder CV, or products (legitimate interest / steps prior to a contract).
• Remember theme and language choices on your device (legitimate interest / consent via browser controls).

5. Cookies and similar technologies

• Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to work without cookies. This site does not ship a cookie banner for that measurement.
• Essential hosting cookies may be set by Cloudflare for security or network reasons.
• Theme / locale may use localStorage rather than cookies.

If we later add analytics that require prior consent in your jurisdiction, we will add an appropriate control and update this Policy.

6. Third parties

Depending on which features are enabled, processors / independent services may include:

• Cloudflare — Pages hosting and Web Analytics.
• Patreon — tip jar memberships.
• Telegram, X, GitHub, LinkedIn — when you follow outbound social links.

7. Retention

• Support / lab / HR email: kept as long as needed to handle the request and ordinary correspondence records.
• Hosting and edge logs: retained under Cloudflare’s practices for security and delivery.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics events: retained per Cloudflare’s aggregate retention for Web Analytics.
• Theme / locale preferences: until you clear site data in your browser.

8. Sharing and sale

We do not sell personal data. We share data with service providers only as needed to run the surfaces above, or when required by law.

9. International transfers

Infrastructure and vendors (for example Cloudflare, Patreon, and social platforms you visit) may process data outside Ukraine and the European Economic Area. Those providers apply their own transfer mechanisms and policies. By using the online surfaces you acknowledge that such processing may occur.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical measures for a static brochure site on Cloudflare Pages: HTTPS, keeping secrets out of the public bundle, and not collecting form data on our own servers in v1.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Protect your email account and devices.

11. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing. To exercise these rights for data we control (mainly email correspondence), contact pryimak615@gmail.com with enough detail to locate your data.

For Patreon memberships, also use Patreon’s account and privacy tools — they hold membership records directly.

12. Children

This studio site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child provided data to us by email, contact us and we will delete it where appropriate.

13. Changes

We may update this Policy when the site, hosting, analytics, or operator details change. The Effective date at the top will be revised. Continued use of the site after an update constitutes notice of the revised Policy for these surfaces.
