About

For me, Carlo Forge is self-expression first — a lab where I keep inventing.

Carlo Forge is a software forge: tools and games that start as research and leave the lab only when they earn their place. Behind the forge sits Prymax Labs — a research lab that investigates ideas and features; finished products ship under the Carlo Forge name.

The name “Carlo” stays a private story. The work does not.

Two siblings

The forge holds two products on purpose. Undefined Behavior is a game that teaches how a processor works — simply, in play form, without needing a degree. Building it needed living project memory: fewer wasted tokens for agents, docs next to the code, a board that actually helps. That need became Doc Hub — first a folder reader and project memory under many “Doc*” names, then one hub.

Local-first and unified are Doc Hub’s spine: your workspace stays on your machine. This studio site is the front door — not the Doc Hub store.

How we got here

The idea of building something of my own was old. Commercial programming started around 2019. In 2023 an article on logic elements lit the game idea; after years of carrying it, serious development began in 2026. Early that summer the helper tools — DocReader, DocMemory, and other Doc* experiments — converged into Doc Hub.

Doc Hub is in beta. Undefined Behavior is still in the forge. The near year aims at a playable UB beta and Doc Hub finding its first real commercial footing through pack licenses — without vanity metrics or agency theater on this site.

This site is the front door to the forge: honest products, engineering craft, and a lab that would rather ship than perform.
